@timid pelican is it consistently freezing? (basically, does it like always happen within the first 10 minutes of playing or smth) If yes, you could remove some of your mods and see if it still happens

So like its fine for like an hour

#

Then it freezes and crashes, i relaunch and it repeats

Windows: Hit Windows Key + R and type in %appdata%. Open the .minecraft folder.
Mac: On the bar at the top of your screen in Finder, click Go, then click Go to Folder and type ~/Library/Application Support/Minecraft, then hit enter.
Linux: .minecraft is located in your home folder. ~/.minecraft

Open your Minecraft folder and send the file called latest or latest.log from .minecraft/logs.

Uhh quick question, is it actually crashing or is it freezing and you force close it?

timid pelican
#

50/50, sometimes it crashes, sometimes it just sits frozen and i force close

(both commands assume you use the default minecraft launcher, so if you use prismlauncher or smth it's different)

timid pelican
#

I use default

inland grail
#

cool, ig last thing I can think of, if it crashes, what error code does it say on screen?

timid pelican
#

So, it actually doesnt open the launcher again saying it crashed

#

It just like closes ig xd

inland grail
#

timid pelican

LMAO

inland grail
#

last thing in the log is this, but that's not really something that should be causing a crash I think

timid pelican
#

Well if it takes longer to freeze then ik its a mem dump issue

inland grail
#

more like memory leak

#

mem dump is more like when something crashes that it outputs all of the data in the memory to a file or smth

timid pelican
#

Oh xd

#

I heard theres mods that fixes mem leak, dare i try one
