Could you keep it btw? lol
as an optional thing of course
I mean why to remove it completely
or is it enableble from the "supersecretsettings.txt"?
Is this it?
And is it going to be removed?
The only problem with the cat is that it's head is always looking in one direction horizontally (not vertically)
But the rest is a masterpiece lol
There is something wrong with the cat's yaw, even though in the code it looks fine
Or does it happen only to me?
yes
And it should stay unless you do smth (you might need to re-add it after April Fools but idk)
so it's enablable later too
Do you know something about the yaw bug?
oh wait
maybe it's because skytils told me to update once more
but I didn't
Though no recent commits have been about this
Just live with it probably
The update didn't help
I mean it's a great feature and a fix would not hurt
like 30 people use it max
I use it
I don't
Does someone know how to run/build the project from source files? I want to try and guess what's wrong
There are a lot of gradle tasks and I don't know what exactly I shoud run except for "build"
that one may work
.\gradlew build
ok
is there some for testing it ingame with a debugger or smth?
so the game is connected to the ide
intellij idea debug mode
I mean .\gradlew build just generates the jars, no?
if you want to run it, it's a lil more complicated ig
You got intellij idea?
(community edition or ultimate should work)
in the top right if you imported it correctly you should see like a run and a debug button
oh, there is indeed a run configuration
uhh sdk or gradle is using wrong java version
what version should it be?
assuming you cloned the repo it says it either in the top left or you gotta open the git menu and check
i meant java sdk version
ohh
Uh I think sdk 17 and gradle 8? Or it was both 17 but then in the run config 8
(*17 or above)
it creates an ide internal error, but seems to continue combpiling for a bit
Tbh I'm not sure if it should be SDK 20
the path is a global one
that's the run config one
it works on SDK 8
ok
It works, but, I guess, making it work with an actual mc account is hard
So I'll have to try to do everything in singleplayer
you can just login via essential
ok
Tbh I'm kinda dumb because I can't even get it to render the cat once
It adds the AbstractClientPlayer to the dummyModelMap, but here it doesn't find the player entity in that map
I'm a bit dumb
Going to try to make it work anyway and remove all broken changes when it's all done
yay I broke it enough to make it render the cat under all circumstances in singleplayer lol
And the result is that it works correctly without other mods
