just use less mods

you could get yourself a custom launcher like prism, and store different versions with different mods for different purposes, for example, in a dungeons only instance you could have odin, skytils, and game optimizing mods

but not have skyhanni, neu or chattriggers

that could very well be it. my folder is a mess, I think I have like 15+ mods for sure, though It doesn't make sense that friend with worse pc runs it fine, but I'll probably cut most mods

also, i'd use polypatcher and polyparticles, it works alot better than patcher
