could not be optifine same thing js happened to me and what i did to fix is removed everything from mod folder something might be outdated or sum recheck all ur mods and make sure they good
i removed everything step by step
and when optifine wasnt in there it did not crash
and with optifine it crashed
i installed a new version it crashed
send crashlog pls
Win key + R and then type %appdata%\.minecraft\crash-reports
mac: ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
Linux: You should know this if your using linux

Patcherto resolve this issue, or disable connected textures in video settings. - Update OptiFine from L5 to M5
Recommendations:
- Most of the time you don't need more than 2GB RAM allocated (maybe 3-4GB if you use skyblock mods). You may be able to reduce the amount of RAM allocated from 6G to 2G or 3G
