I figured out that essentials has not been updated/is not currently working so that was mostly my issue. I'm trying to find a previous version of it but idrk how to.

I'm using skyclient for hypixel. There are some mods that change the main screen of Minecraft from the default vanilla one to something different and I can't access the "change account through essentials" button. Is that better?

Just tried having skytils by itself and that didn't work. I'm just going to try and downgrade to the previous version. Thank you very much. If i see the other custom loading screen, I will let you know.

edit in case some people need help:

go to essential.gg/download and download the forge 1.8.9 version
navigate to your modfolder (you should know where it is)
make sure skytils is not in there, you should've moved it to somewhere else like your desktop.
drag the jar file you just downloaded into the folder
launch minecraft
update essential from the popup, if it doesn't show a popup saying essential has an update, go to essential settings and toggle automatic essential updates. if you do have to toggle auto-updates, relaunch minecraft again to make sure it updated.
remove the essential jar and put the skytils jar back in
launch minecraft
send a support message if it still isn't fixed with a ss of your modfolder

You're using skyclient in the mc launcher, so go to %appdata%/.minecraft/skyclient/mods

you can't since iirc essential modifies the main mc menu not some other mod's menu
