Possible Solutions:

  • If you're using Patcher & have started crashing recently when joining a server, you'll need to disable entity culling by going to .minecraft/config, opening the patcher.toml file and changing entity_culling = true to entity_culling = false.
    ** This is caused by a new AMD driver update that appears to be a complete rewrite of the driver. If you suffer a large performance hit after disabling entity culling, you can try downgrading your GPU driver instead**

It did stop crashing when i took skytils out of the mod folder

It also hadnt crashed this morning (~6-7hrs ago) (mods folder unchanged since then)

It also isnt crashing when i switch from 1.8.0pre3 to 1.7.9 so for now i've just done that
