You can indeed use mods on hypixel

If you are referring to skyblock it is because hypixel admins changed the scoreboard to say skiblock instead of skyblock, basically breaking every single mod that relies on the scoreboard in order to activate the mod in skyblock

The only thing that you can do is update because st developers patched it

#

Also april fools is over so you don't really need to update anyways
