Recently, 20+ people were wiped for being involved in a scam which I practiced and invented. These people were both the victims and perpetrators for this scam which revolved around asking lowballers to ask for a stack of manipulated items. More than half the people wiped in this incident were the victims of these scams which is utterly ridiculous. I have scammed ≈ 15 lowballers and all of them have suddenly turned the api off (almost certainly wiped.) My coop was wiped as well as others who perpetrated the scam. I'm going on this rant, because this is a false wipe which is rediculous. The fact that people are getting wiped for falling for a scam is utterly ridiculous. From the other side of the argument, I shouldn't be wiped as a scammer as scamming is only punishable by a Major Chat Infraction. My Issue: Hypixel admins are banning people in a non-discriminatory manner in order to maintain server stability. Instead they are doing the opposite. In most cases, wiped players aren't even at fault for the situations they find themselves in, however, Hypixel's admin team is too lazy to properly carry out wipes. Additionally, the AI generated responses on Hypixel Forums are a sign of Hypixel's negligence towards this important situation. Currently, two people have come out to me and asked me if I caused them to get wiped (these people admitted to getting wiped). If you want to see the victim's messages, dm me and i'll send them. I encourage that at least someone here to put this info on somewhere on the lines of reddit in help order to spread the word.
