For crops honestly best could be Wheat off base, I also know though that you can get Burrowing Spores from Mushrooms though and they sell for like ~8m-9m. Burrowing Spores is like 1/250,000 (0.0004%) when breaking a mushroom, which I mean I could see how it looks bad, but honesty me passing my Mushroom farm I probably get around 50k mushrooms per pass (combined from both Red and Brown) and that take around 10 mins + I think I dont have like an optimised Mushroom farm. So you have chances of getting ~8m-9m along with like E Mushroom Blocks being around 50k which aren't bad since you know that its 32 E Mushrooms for a block instead of like 160. Another thing is that Mushroom gives 6 farming xp so its nice to run with Rabbit if you wanna farm xp, or maybe Mooshroom for extra mushrooms.
