The line of the code has everything to do with the session id. Let's break it down

Minecraft.getMinecraft().getSession().getUsername()

getMinecraft() returns your initiated Minecraft session whereas getSession is more like a reporter for verifying that your client is verified. More in detail, get session stores your session ID (because it is the session) as well as other information about you. Since there have been vulnerabilities surrounding Sessions in the past it probably isn't in a mod creator's best interest to access the player name in that way. If you notice, SBA does not access your name that way because it does not need to for any of its functionality. To say this kindly, mods don't need your session so they shouldn't be touching it. Regardless of how that data is eventually accessed.

Delete any versions of Skytils in the folder you navigated to. Copy and paste the updated file you downloaded earlier into the same folder.
