for me it worked spotify wise

but after i did this

  • install older version of spotify
  • drag the 3 files into spotify directory

it worked

but now my pc is slower

like everything needs way longer to open

browsers , sites , apps ........ everything

i restarted my pc like 2 times but its still like this and i think the issue is bec of that

press ctrl shift esc and see what's chewing up your memory

to sort the apps by memory or CPU once you open task manager click the 'Memory' or 'CPU' at the top of the screen and it'll sort them

try setting Spotify so that it doesn't open at startup (if you haven't already) and restart your pc

Try completely uninstalling Spotify, then restart your pc and see if the issue persists

If it does, check your startup apps in task manager and look up any that seem illegitimate or bogus
