ads show up again

i downloaded this from github and it was working really well but now about 2 weeks later ads have shown up again how do i fix this?

there is no need, if you get ads again just do this:

• go here https://www.spotify.com/it/download/other/
• DONT download the Current, download the 8.1 version
• install that, then close Spotify after
• download the BlockTheSpot.bat and run it
• in the window that pops up, it will say that there is a newer version of Spotify and it will ask if you want to use that newer version instead, you will need to type Y or N and press enter (obviously you type Y and press enter)
• after that let it finish and you're all done, no more ads again!

try to uninstall Spotify completely then, and run only the BlockTheSpot.bat file, apparently it installs the latest supported version of Spotify by itself

it's what I heard tho haven't tried that, but apparently that also works, not sure

I can Confirm I preformed a Clean Install using the 8.1 Version Closed out dint sign in. Started the .BAT Typed Y both times when the install was finished closed out logged in no Ads

ok my bad, i restarted my pc (i didnt sooner cuz i wasnt sure how it would make a difference) and it seems to have fixed it x) gonna leave my messages here tho in case someone comes with a similar issue.
