No "TV" Shows" library for Jellyfin | ErsatzTV | Page 1

I am setting ErsatzTV up, and it only shows the "Movies" library for synchronization.
In Jellyfin I have many libraries, but the main (and really only) one I want added to ErsatzTV is TV Shows.

If it matters, I have the channel category in Jellyfin for TV Shows set to as "Mixed Movies and Shows" so it would also pick up TV movies. It would be pretty laborious to transfer everything over to a new library, and will delete a lot of customization I made for it, as Jellyfin does not have the capability to switch library formats.

Is there a way I can get ErsatzTV to detect media from Jellyfin without using local media? I want it to pick up Jellyfin's image, tag, studio, and other metadata soo I can properly set up smart collections and know what I am using.

You have to set the TV shows in TV shows catergory in Jellyfin that's why it not showing up

ErsatzTV supports a subset of media kinds when synchronizing from media servers, i.e. Plex, Jellyfin and Emby only support Movies and Shows. Local Libraries support all media kinds: Movies, Shows, Music Videos, Other Videos, Songs, Images and Remote Streams.

i guess not totally clear there, but it only supports the distinct library kinds (movies, shows)

So... I'm out of luck? I have that category set to mixed movies and shows because there's media in that folder Jellyfin won't detect otherwise.

yes, etv only supports distinct library kinds. you might be able to use etv local libraries and nfo files if those are available.
