I wanted to make things to where it only plays from x time to x time on the server but, still keeps the dynamic and multiple layouts.
I've tried switching to flexible for fixed timing but, it ended up not working because the shows would push into each other too much to stream the entire schedule. I don't want to use filler necessarily if I don't have to. what's the best way to accomplish this ?

you could try duration. However, if you want to restrict programming to specific blocks of time, Block Scheduling may be the way to go
