i get this error when running any channels on my jellyfin

if you dont see info in the logs, go into etv's main settings and set it to save troubleshooting reports to disk, then stop and start the channel again

then open the logs folder using the tray icon, go up one folder, and look in the ffmpeg-reports folder for files that might have more details

why dont you close etv and switch to the latest develop build, it has a fix for a playout build loop, maybe thats the issue

btw i dont know if change that setting automatically reboots all channels but the channels loaded just as an fyi i mean as in their not looping on ersatztv anymore

you could download this somewhere, and point etv to this version of ffmpeg (ffprobe doesnt need to change) and try again https://github.com/BtbN/FFmpeg-Builds/releases/download/latest/ffmpeg-n7.0-latest-win64-gpl-7.0.zip

literally any folder, you put the full path to the ffmpeg.exe (including ffmpeg.exe) in etv's main settings page

if there's a sample file that fails and you're comfortable sending me a dm with a link, i think the only thing i can do is try to repro here with my nvidia. i just tried segmenter v2, nvidia with my content and it still works fine

its not weird, its a different streaming mode, it uses different logic

i havent fixed as many edge cases, and the quality is a little worse than v1, so it's not default yet

i can repro with hevc in ffmpeg profile. switching to h264 makes things work, so i would do that for now
