I haven't seen any artwork for artists. It is the artwork for the video that appears in the guide.

I have it working here. More or less. The artist image won't show (only a fanart.jpg in the music video folder is recognized). The nfos of the video all hae a thumb tag <thumb>Nothing Like The Rain-video.jpg</thumb>. You'd need a poster artwork, not sure if it's worth the effort.

I named the artist image thumb.jpg inside the artist folder for the music videos and they show up. I cropped them to a size of 500x500.

For the song rename the image to the same name as the video file but use the jpg extension.

It just to let the artist image show up. I just went with the recommended 500x500 size found on Kodi's Artwork types for music. But after playing with MediaElch I noticed that their artist images are 1000x1000.
