What sources of info or news do you follow?
YT: Guy in a Cube, Curbal, Havens Consulting, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft Mechanics, Anders (of course), SQLBI, Intellipat, Linus Tech Tips, Pragmatic Works, Eric Kimberling, Alireza Aliabadi, Shane Young, Enterprise DNA, Marques Brownlee. These are my main YT channels for tech. I have plenty of fishing and camping channels if you're interested. 😆
I just get a weekly RPA newsletter from RPA Websites and track linked in to be honest
For everything else i have one guy for each industry . For finance, tech , social , spiritual and even thought coaches 😄
I generally follow a few people on LinkedIn. Used to have Google alerts drop me a daily list of any new content related to RPA but quickly got tired of it and stopped reading it, so I disabled it. Was a good way to notice new competitors in the local market though, haha 😄
Thanks for a great list. I have some of them in my subscriptions, too. But I rarely consume YT content, really. I prefer stuff I can read rather than stuff I need to listen to or watch.
Makes sense. I'm the opposite, I'm a visual person and like to build or tinker while I'm watching.
follow along
As you might notice, alot of my videos are very solution oriented. I'm not really into the "news" type articles and tech predictions. 9/10 I'm on YT looking for a solution to a problem or beefing up my knowledge in something.
Especially fishing..lol
What's the biggest fish that you have fished while fishing in a lake full of fishes 🤣🤣🤣?
Hah..here's a bull red from years ago. This is inshore (Gulf of Mexico bay fishing). I don't really like catching big fish all the time since I use light tackle, but these are fun every now and then.
Yeah, that's pretty much the only reason I watch YT videos ever. Not the fishing part, but solutions to specific problems.
My dad always wanted me to fish. He loves it. I never liked it. My brother is a better son in this regard.
hah, yeah. My sons used to fish with me but they both grew out of it. Hopefully, they come back.
I don't really follow generic "tech news" any longer. There are just so many rabbit holes to go down, I try to stay focused on the tech at hand.
Yeah, I agree. And even with the focus, it still takes effort to keep up to date.
What are your main RPA sites? Just vendor sites or private sites?
