#Increase Solarion's Battle Block

Solarion's egregiously low battle block is ridiculous. Although barely justifiable on literally any of the other classes that wield it, such as Shadow Hunter and Ice Sage, it's an offensive number for the Solarion to carry. Most of the Solarion's damage comes from its ultimate ability, which gives it crowd control, and the parrot doesn't last forever in situations that it would take a lot of damage, pretty much meaning that all of Solarion's gameplay has to be close up to actually do anything with it. Even if you were to regard the other abilities, Solarion will still need to be up close to make them efficient, unlike Gunslinger(||which shares the same battle||) that is entirely ranged.

We also clearly see that the amount of damage is not a resolver of any current battle block numbers. Boomeranger has 180+ battle on Bow(||which is a tad bit excessive but consider dual weapon users + a few other things i won't list here||) and 500+ battle on Sword towards its peak.

With the complaints out of the way I think a reasonable stance is to place the average number in between Boomeranger Bow and Dracolyte's current battle. Let ASSUME that at 8 million health, 12000 health regen, 1300 stability, you have 37 Battle Block. Then:

  • 37 Battle Block -> 235 Battle Block

Even if you disagree with the number listed, thumbs up/down under the ideal that the number does/doesn't deserve an increase, not that the number should be entirely agreed on.

i have a couple of other takes on the battle block counts on classes, but this is the only serious problem with it

in d15 the count is irrelevant but in depths / high delve, terror wipes battle quickly for classes that can't keep range

That's just same as having 1 class

If every class could do 500 ms like neon ninja and solo a void antumbral boss as fast as boomer/sol there would be no reason to specialise class builds based on the areas of the game you spend the most time in

The way classes should be designed is they should have strengths and weaknesses, and they should be able to solo in the areas that they are strong, and need help in the areas they are weak, ideally accompanied by someone playing a class which is strong in that area.

Trove is kinda a multiplayer game expecting all content to be an easy experience solo on all classes is flawed

as such even though it is top at doing content the earliest, and the sword counterpart performing the best without flasks, gs/sol/rev beat at the d15 5, nn/ll/sh/dt/kn/tr/bd - so many possible replacement options for the d15 5 after mystic gems came out, nn/dt/kn/sh/bd and a gs fully built for speed all getting more dungeons/hr than it, and being faster than it naturally due to being able to keep up the speed buff more... you get the point, there are so many options at that point, most people consider not needing br to clear a certain portion of non-delve content 'graduating' from it. how many times has someone in their head say "i dont need br anymore yay"

it truly is the jack of all trades due to what it suffers from, and suffering the minimal when combining all tasks, but players will still hate on it

i do believe the same thing but kindof rethought his point and went, if solarion's low battle was now doable battle, it'll destroy the br/sol dynamic on that alone, for any person who uses the two classes for rising tides content it wouldn't make any sense to choose br for it as the damager since its impact damage is just so much better - the battle update already has alot of people on solarion despite the battle issues, and so many people upgrade the bow over the sword due to dps reasons already; we will definitely lose alot of br's following this logic

in other words solarion's crappy battle combined with the fact it shreds everything close to it is quite literally the thing balancing it, and upping its battle causes more harm than good

i feel like it's well written in cons, to the extent we're in a dynamic between gs that the delver will build sage, and the rising tides player will build gunslinger for physical immunities

it does deserve better, but considering its rework was 6 years ago along with revenant, it is going to outdate a bit, which is kindof why ive been so pressured on ft nn
