Every 11 Days someone appears “Crossplay” and we all know that won’t happen

If cross play does happen it will destroy the switch community because we haven't had as much time as the rest of the platforms and we aren't at a similar level as a collective

The game will end up dead on all 3 consoles if this doesn't happen. There might be 4-500 active players on trove Xbox. Switch likely way less.

Simple. I play everyday. I see the rotation of people. Its the same people running d15 snd ships.

Old players have the same rotation of players to grind with. I was gone from the game 4 2 years and didn't lose yellow name

Cross play can never happen with troves small dev team. Cross save is a far shot but atlease has a remote possibility.

The devs do not care about this game. They don't play it. Its just a job for them. You see it in all the decisions they make and all the resource costs things have. Everything new is untradable now do to greed. But it has backfired and killed the game. Its an mmo where you cant sell gear and most of the important resources. Forcing time gates that cause people to lose interest.

You do realize that timegates keep people playing because if there weren't timegates people would be able to get stuff done way faster meaning eventually they will have everything and no incentive to play

I’m pretty sure the devs already responded to the cross play question on a dev stream, and besides it will ruin the marketplace since marketplace is different in every console.

Time gates absolutely do not keep people playing lol I myself s long term player have quit many times over time gates.

The market place is ruined on all platforms anyway. So that's not an excuse any longer. However the devs will never do cross play. To much effort for them. Game is probably at its lowest player counts in its existence.

There is quite literally a post from a switch player who says its neglected. Im sure they would love to be able to play with Playstation and Xbox aswell as pc.

But again cross play will never happen. Trove doesn't make the money needed. Im sure with all the fraud there is a chance its actually in the negative atleast on xbox.

Also adding crossplay, asside from technical limitations and needing a new way of updating, it would just destroy all ecomomies and kill even endgame players on for example Switch, our Credit Pouches r 600-750k bc its a fair price here, with crossplay it would prolly be more like 2m right away
