Hello, it would be sick if Freshwater Fran (long shade version) npc became a costume for a class, probably Ice Sage since the model looks to be the same. The npc looks really cool in my opinion and a similar costume (Saltwater Sage) already exists so I don't see this being hard to create. A similar staff (Runic Dread) also exists. I would actually pay money for a costume like that.

Fran's design is actually made from that costume. So if we were to add it as-is, the only difference from Saltwater Sage would be the color—which, in my opinion, isn't really worth it.
Let me know if you strongly disagree with my point of view and wouldn’t mind costumes that are just color swaps - like the Blue and Pink gummy bear CB costumes.
in general more game NPCs should be made into costumes
the "Hero" character from the old tutorial for example

different variations of existing costumes or NPCS being made into costumes would be actually pretty awesome, would allow for a more variety of styles in-game, and it looks easier to add than completely new costumes (of course i don't know the insides, just my perspective from the outside)
I think a lot of people would like having same design different colour costumes like you mentioned, gummy bear CB costumes. Freshwater Fran looks really cool on the Saltwater Sam Outposts as I mentioned. And as two people above me mentioned, having costumes designed after NPCs would be sick, maybe even make somewhat difficult questlines designed after their lore or something which would reward cosmetics of the specific NPC
