Problem with that is, everyone perception to "too good to be true" is slightly different.
Like for example you have listings of some ore qty 1000, 3000ea. Now someone lists 5000 or 9999 [stack] for 2500 or 2000 ea and then that actually may be just someone wanting to quicksell it for fast, yet someone may see it as being too good to be true..
That adds a LOT of uncertainty into the market...
Now if you had a system like csfloat in cs2 where you can at least see some of the history of the said item, it would be cool... But that may be way too complex for the trove devs..

Basically for players there needs to be a simple/secure way to see what they buy is illegal or not which can potentially get them in trouble.
Arguments about "if its too good to be true" has alot of variables and is not something you can constantly rely on because everyone perception is different.. It's not reliable way of doing things.. But i understand the basics of it, there is time where "too good to be true" can be used and others where you cannot...
Imagine player comes back at the timing of people duping and sees credit pouches are at 50m each, has has some and lists them.. Then gets potentially in trouble without even knowing about it... Well theres how your "to good to be true" holds water. In some cases it totally doesn't...
NOT to mention that there isn't any official graphs like price history of specific item, or market sales... etc.. So people can have more educated guesses

It’s been 14 hours without Trove. Fourteen long, dragging hours that feel more like days. My hands won’t stop shaking, and every time I try to stand up, my legs tremble like they can’t remember how to hold me anymore. I pace around, sit down, stand up again — nothing helps. The most frustrating part about it is the switch 2 would be a very good platform to play trove on as it can actually run the game unlike whatever you say the first switch did.

At this point I wouldn’t even care about compensation lol. I just want to hear something at all. Clearly someone is updating the switch if we are still getting updates and events but clearly it’s just not enough

They didn’t give me a damn thing for my account being wiped was the funny part to me. They messed up and I called them out a week after they sent that discord message and I still never got my damn compensation
