Information about updates?

I hope we can get some more insight in what's to come with future content for Trove and the plans forward, since lately we have been lacking information at all. I remember we used to have DEV streams talking about upcoming content and giving us some insight. Maybe make a roadmap with some planned content or have more streams like we used to. We also haven't heard from the community survey either so that would be nice to get an update on 😄 I personally love this game and I hope the game keeps on going! I just miss some communication.

Regarding the main point: we fully agree that communication — especially around future updates — has been suboptimal. It's something we've been actively discussing internally:

Elariok and I are currently wrapping up the upcoming Community Letter (you can expect it first week of April), where we’ll go into more detail. We’ll address what led to the current situation and give a sneak peek at the road ahead.
The Community Letter will also introduce a new kind of "Community Event", aimed at improving the dialogue between players and the game team.

We don't want to spoil too much, keep an eye out for the next Community Letter 🙂

Utilise the pts more for trying experimental features and out-there ideas to gauge community response. It seems nowadays it's used only when the update is close enough to finished and little opportunity for suggestions and changes in the week or 2 they are up.

Or introduce a separate experimental or canary branch to do this

I know this is a bit of a reach but, can we expect any Trove streams in the future like we had back in 2018 etc where we just hang out and talk about Trove itself, answering some questions and some sneakpeaks maybe 😄
