That's absolute nonsense. If you keep spending your gold, you won't get to 8.8k of course, but if you save your gold you can do it without any problems. I make more than 1k gold per week, and could buy 160 seats every 2 months if I wanted to. Well, I've been playing for 4 years, but even as a beginner you can buy 160 slots without real money. You can buy 160 slots every 173 days just by watching the adverts (173 days x 51 gold = 8823 gold). Then you still ride clubs and events where even more gold is collected. I say that if you don't spend anything, you'll have it all together in 4 months at the latest. If that's too long for you, buy 25 slots plus Ceramic when they're on offer. If you can't get them for 1199 gold (48 gold per slot), get them for 1599 gold (64 gold per slot). I ignore the Ceramic Pack in the calculation, as you never buy it for gold anyway. Nevertheless, saving on 160 slots is not a bad idea (55 gold per slot). Slots are the most important thing to build up a base of cars in the first place. Save gold, save gold and save gold again.

You should get slots. It’s just unlikely that you only bought 25 slots and somehow have 230 in 3 weeks because gold isn’t that easy to come by even in early game.
