Reduce the price of gold and cash in the store or reduce the cost of car packages

gold/$ is definitely too low for me as a sensible person to purchase, the world expo "feels" like better value so I have admittedly bought the first one but tbh haven't actually calculated it.

Bit hard to present a suggestion thst directly causes hutch to lose money though, not sure if this is much of a suggestion.

As a f2p player that is willing to buy gold 1-2 times in a year I think that current prices are not worth it. You need a bunch of gold to make a difference. With the same money I could buy the latest top driving PC game. Either NfS or Horizon Series or F1 games

I mean at current rates a little over $0.01 CAD is worth 1 Gold in game. So I don't see Hutch lowering it any more than it already is because they'd virtually make nothing if so. However, the Gold prices on Packs I do believe could be a little lower maybe by a couple hundred Gold.

The current expo pass costs about 1k gold and you get 2 CFs, I think 2 ceramics, a bunch of slots and cash. If that's not value for money then nothing is.

Suggestion closed, they already made packs cheaper with the introduction of the season pass.

They haven’t though, they have just provided an alternative way of buying packs, slots and cash for a bundle price. They haven’t actually made packs from the store cheaper. 1500 gold for a carbon fibre pack is ridiculous. If they lowered the cost of a pack I think they would sell more packs. The question is whether they would sell enough to offset the reduction in price. But they also have to consider growing the game and whether the games growth is being limited by how expensive packs/gold are.

Nobody could say for sure but i think they would certainly sell more, whether it would be enough to make up for the 20% reduction I have no idea. Demand goes up when cost goes down, that’s basic economics. What’s key for any business is finding the optimal price to charge where revenue is maximised. The difficulty is that optimal price moves with changing market conditions. What’s for certain is that Hutch will try to make the most money they can as they are a business designed to make money. What’s less certain (to us at least) is whether the price they charge now is anywhere near that optimal price point or not.

Agreed, I've personally pulled back on buying packs because they're too expensive, but say for example a whale has dedicated spending $1000/month on the game, if packs get 10% cheaper then their spending may now become $900/month, and you'd need enough new spenders to offset that reduction. I mean it's literally free money so I don't know how much marketing research has been done by hutch but this suggestion is still a bit of a no-brainer and if they're willing to drop the base price then they would have done so already

besides, the seasonal passes seem like an extremely good deal compared to the actual gold prices but in the end, its still they making money. I would agree with a 5$ pass and 15$ for the bigger one and gold being quite cheaper. The problem with this is justifing that depending of where you live 100$ can be a days work or a weeks work

# vocal bane they are selling internet content, they dont have a real product and there's no ...

Yes there are real costs, they have to pay for development, licensing, servers, and their employees that work on all those aspects. So in the end they do need to turn up some type of sizable profit. Just because the product isn't physical doesn't mean it doe not cost anything to produce.

That being the main reason why I doubt they would lower prices, if anything prices would continue to rise.

Licensing alone can cost in the tens of thousands depending on the brand. That's one of the core reasons why Ferrari is not in game yet is because their licensing cost is astronomical compared to other brands.

licensing must be an headache for games to deal with. I wish i had toyota in game

at least there's acura

They definitely need to lower gold prices, 1500 gold for a carbon fibre pack is ridiculous. As someone who’s bought gold before, You might as well buy a proper console racing game if your spending this much money on a mobile game…

Generally living in countries where the main currency is euro or dollar prices are cheap, but I live in Poland where prices are huge, that's why I've never bought in my life. For us Poles it is too expensive. I saw here that someone compared that you can buy pc games for these prices. With us, we wait for game promotions rather than their premieres.

I think the game should switch to regional pricing when buying gold, cash nd season pass.... Just like how steam sells games based on regional pricing.... Although it comes with regional restriction on steam.

Yeah that would be bad news for hutch

which would mean people would need to create new acounts with the vpn

#

people would also compete in defferent reagions depending on the currency, so even if someone would want to exploit that they would need to stick with a server where people could also exploit

#

and they would need to create a new account

Oh that actually works.... But putting that into game is gonna get messy for old accounts because probably that data isn't collected.... Unless the game asks you to select your country and can only make purchases in that currency there onwards. But I'm sure this is going to affect people who travel to other countries or got relocated.🤔
For steam the game gets regional locked so you can't play that game in any other countries. Can there be any workarounds for this?
