  2. Bug: Email verification link redirects to support homepage without completing verification – account stuck in email confirmation loop, cannot submit support ticket.
  3. Environment: Desktop Browser (Chrome, also tested on Edge, Firefox, and Android device; all same result). Ad-blockers disabled, clean browser profile tested.
  4. Issue: After changing email address, the verification email arrives but the link inside does not work. Clicking it redirects to https://support.faceit.com/ instead of confirming the new email. As a result, the new email stays unverified, and when trying to contact support via the normal ticket form, the system blocks it with “please verify your email first.” This makes it impossible to resolve the issue through standard support channels.
  5. Steps to reproduce:
    • Go to account settings, change email to [new email address]
    • Receive verification email
    • Click the link in the email (format: https://support.faceit.com/verification/email/[TOKEN]?make_primary=true)
    • Expected: New email is verified and set as primary, account functions normally.
    • Actual: Redirected to support homepage, no change in account status, the email remains unverified, and support ticket submission is blocked.
  6. Additional info:
    • The verification token is valid (I have it) but I’m not posting it publicly for security reasons. I can share it via DM with a moderator if needed.
    • The issue persists across multiple browsers and on Android. Ad-blockers and tracking protection disabled, browser console shows no relevant errors after disabling extensions. The only console output is an unrelated Facebook attribution warning.
    • I cannot link my Discord account because Discord is restricted in Turkey, so I’m reporting here.
    • This is a critical blocker: I cannot use support tickets, and the email change cannot be completed.
