I haven’t beat this yet but I gotta ask this quick question first. Did you somehow figure out how to make a checkpoint door, or is this a really weird bug lol? I died almost immediately and respawned in some water, before appearing in the doorway where I came in.
There’s no checkpoint there as far as I can tell.

I put checkpoint door before most room, I didn't put one that leads to a gauntlet

Oh wait, I rember that happening when clearchecking, I'm pretty sure that's a weird bug cuz you're supposed to spawn on the door when you die, not on the water and take damage.

The very first room on the right with the springs. I died and respawned in water. Then I reappeared in the doorway. No idea how.
