The room in the icon is the global gizmo which controls the element-coded doors. The goal is to explore and find the boss, and defeat them in order win the prize. I also added two optional bosses that you have to find.

The two bugs I've spotted are that occasionally the gizmo failed to close the old doors, and that getting hit as you step on a button can be fatal.

One question I have for anyone who has made it to the final boss encounter... I'm thinking of modifying it to where activating a particular Zorbius torch immediately shuts down the corresponding snake spawner, rather than the defeat of that Zorbius. Would this be a good idea?

GREAT esthetics and GREAT theme / idea, however the difficulty balancing is off. There is WAY too many ennemies to have in a swordless dungeon ; makes exploration really stressfull 🫨 I would personally consider nerfing amount of ennemies considerably. Otherwise, you might filters many (including me) from what looks like a stellar dungeon.

I'll look into cutting enemy counts. Thanks.

OK, did cut some numbers in the swordless areas. Also made it so just activating the individual guardian stops its snake-spawner, and you can also control when the last one comes in, in case you need a breather.

Also added a third optional boss guarding one of the heart containers.

I accidently cheese the dungeon, I had both red and yellow opened, did not realise it until I grabbed the jewel. I think it has to do with the two switchs adjacent to each others near the begining.

Yep, and I have no clue why that happens aside from "jank"

I haven't finished this one yet but i think the use of the constant camera focus on the room in hte image is a bit unnecessary. 1 focus on each color pillar (or even once for all) i think should be enough to get the idea and maybe speed up the flow of the dungeon.

I don't the gizmo works without focus. It's in its own room.

#

I'll try it as a focus once, but likely the doors will only work once each as you have to see the room each time for the toggle to process.

I would honestly prefer it operate invisibly.

I'm going to test out using differing floors and warp portals to remake this, see if it feels a bit better. It won't have the mechanism, I should be able to differentiate the room versions more, and the jank and early skip will be gone. Could work well

That approach will have its own issues. Is there any way to stack portal exits?
