I got softlocked in one playthrough of one of my wip level, after falling in the lava, no respawn. As far as I know, only happened to me in the latest patch. Happened to me twice in 3 runs, which seems to indicate some consistancy. Might be a combination of laval fall, moving platform and feather.

The ground itself doest change
Usually you respawn to the ground, not to the platform
I can't justify the soft lock in any of those scenarios
Also, most of the time, I respawn just fine, but enough times (so that it becomes a problem), I don't respawn and soft lock

cause yea it indeed only keeps track of the last 10 safe tiles for memory reasons
