I don't know if this is unique to headphones, but this is how I discovered the bug.

Pre-requisite: My volume settings were 100/100/70/70 (don't know if these actually matter). Also, I was in the middle of editing a dungeon.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enter maker mode, if not already.
  2. Open the audio settings, and reduce master volume to 0.
  3. Exit pause menu.
  4. Disconnect and reconnect headphones (I have wired headphones; don't know if unpairing/pairing Bluetooth headphones will also cause this, for example).
  5. Enter play mode. Sounds are suddenly playing.
  6. Exit dungeon. Music is suddenly playing.

This effect persists, until the master volume is adjusted again.
