I about went insane trying to replicate this. I have absolutely no idea what causes it.
Here's what I've observed when it DOES happen:
- It ONLY happens in Play Mode. While testing in the editor, nothing will appear wrong
- It can cause a sequence to play immediately when entering a room. So sometimes you'll only need to trigger sequence 2 even though sequence 1 was never triggered
- It can sometimes behave as though there is no sequence, causing conditions that require them to ignore their existence (like a chest not needing to spawn from a correct sequence so it just starts in the room as is)
- You can make a new room with the same exact setup and it will behave normally, as long as you don't do whatever causes the bug to happen
I've attached a dungeon file where I was messing around trying to replicate it. all the rooms should be bugged out at the moment. remember: it only happens in Play Mode.
