Pretty self-explanatory; bumpers currently don't have all that much use as far as I can tell, and it would be really fun if they could redirect pushed blocks with ice physics.

not sure yet

#

ill try it rn

#

i suppose this does the trick?

Visually, it looks a bit like the ice block is stopping and then being pushed by the bumpers because it slows down before gaining momentum again. If that’s a stylistic choice, you can disregard this nitpick

its just the physics engine

#

i can try if i can make the velocity change instantaneous

That would be cool if you can make it work but no pressure

Will we be able to redirect blocks perpendicularly with a setup like this?

#

cause that would be awesome

blissful quest
#

no

#

that would be way too finnicky

#

i'd rather have a diagonal bumper for that

#

that would be more intuitive and less finnicky

I get that

euh idk for diagonal cuz that mean you have to also being able to push an ice block diagonally imo

blissful quest
#

it looks better indeed

Bumpers have always seemed a little bit finicky to me anyway because their hitbox doesn't extend into the block in front of them at all so you can't do stuff like this

#

like you need to have some form of forward momentum

blissful quest
#

yep bumpers are finnicky indeed

Anyway i'm satisfied with the implementation of this suggestion, and I can't wait to play around with it! (:
