for what
holding a contest
to write in the #🏆│contests chat you mean?
yeah
Dm or in here?
dm is fine
ok thank you!
i can probably make that if you want me to
i have experience writing professionally
do you want to?
sure
ok! give it your best shot!
from message time to January 31st 9pm (EST)
k thanks
For the rules i think they should at least have [QMPR] in the title and it must be a puzzled based dungeon, and of course be made within the time stamps
people can bypass that easily
wdym
they can just make one big room with key blocks and such
Once your done can you run it by me before showing it to julian?
Dm preferably
they just have to have [QMPR] in thier dungeon name
alr
also i think we should do the judging
yeah ofc
it would also be disqualified if it was posted or updated after the deadline
or if we deemed it as not puzzle based
yea if it breaks any of the rules its not allowed
Also can you add the voting process in there too?
5 being the best score out of:
Clarification (how easy it is to figure out what you need to do)
uh.. help me out -.-
2 more
and Balancing for skill of the players
so beginners and pros enjoy the process of beating it
or would taht be fun factor
yeah it would be a part of fun factor
that would be the discription
Fun Factor (how much beginners and pros enjoy the process of beating it)
you said you were not good at puzzles right?
not good at MAKING puzzles
oh srr
im alright at playing
its good
either way we should be able to tell haha
and i think fun factor is more about the, well, amount of fun it is to play
extra points if it makes you go "OOHH, that should've been obvious!" after you beat it
nah
maybe accessibility is the fourth? which is how much extra skills outside of puzzling it requires
1 is a lot, 10 is none
what do you mean by that?
so if it requires a lot of timing or parkour, thats a low score cause a lot of the difficulty isnt even from the puzzle part
if there's none, then thats a 10 cause the difficulty comes from puzzles and puzzles alone
eh
id say we keep it simpler
and that facets in to the "how much beginners and pros both enjoy the process of beating it" thing
what do you mean by that?
cause the difficulty comes from puzzling
so i could be a complete beginner at parkour, never having picked up the feather item in my life, but still enjoy it
im started to get confused
nvm
anyways how is your draft looking
Haha its ok
alr ima send the first draft now
ooooh you beat your deadline
