I think color fire bars have been rejected before, don't remember if a reason was given that time haha

Because I'm okay with them being it's own version.
From looking at the definition, it seems to imply that Julian thinks there's too many fiddly bits when it comes to firebars, like the individual flames and such?
cant we already reverse a firebar via conditions?

Looking it over, the conditions apply to turning the firebars on/off.
Guess I can kinda see why Julian thinks it could be a problem, in that regard.
That's a LOT of nuances for the game to keep track of.

yeah maybe if he turned the entire firbar into a single entity that rotates on the center maybe it would be easier to do
right now i think each individual fireball is a seprate entity

like red version for single/double/triple/quadruple fire bars and then 4 more for blue ones
Considering each line of a firebar can go up to 10 in length, and you can have up to four of em, and you're supposed to keep track of which ones are on/off, and you'd have to keep track of direction...
Well, yeah, I can imagine the system might bug out at some point.

Come to think of it, last week update, instead of getting two new things, we actually got 8 instead lol.
What about just a "Color" version, along side the Spectral and Metal versions
Like, instead of adding a blue and red version, make it switch between the two colors and directions.
I suppose making CC functionality a base feature could be an option, should it be fine with Julian

I know, I made a whole different game from a mod once xd, but in this case, the modding support is only meant for visuals only, if Julian would want that kind of capabilities (That changes another aspect of functionality) that would be something that need to reconsider.

Even so, it is clientside, that's a whole different story
have to wait and see exactly how it's handled, but I personally would allow modded content with a small caveat. you go to a seperate place to make dungeons with modded content, say in world " the Black market" and thats where you make and play modded dungeons, and it's all Steam workshop handled, so mod.io has nothing to do with it
Perhaps, I hope that's a thing anyway, since the vision for Modding Support now is being clientside only xd.

Why not to make just an option in the conditions of the bars to be colour-switched and just change the "base" colour, not the entire bars.
