#Better trending tab

The existing trending tab seems to pretty much be, mostly, the most played levels. That doesn't really serve a strong purpose. We think this needs better algorythm. Perhaps remove stuff from the trending tab once played?

Maybe, heavily lower the rank of most played levels?

And to be clear, my level 1-1 But it's Quest Master has been in the top 3 most played for a long time, so I'm suggesting heavily de-moting my stage on trending so others get more of a chance.

Also, at some point "Most played" could maybe be better split between "Most played ever, and post played this week, or month, or something."

Sorting by activity within timeframe (week, month, as mentioned) would be nice. Steam has those filters for lots of stuff; and it's quite nice to have

Unfortunately I have little control since it’s done by mod.io

#

I do a bit of custom filtering already to rule out things like Kaizo but otherwise my hands are tied

Bump. Maybe the devs can try their own sorting algorithm because the current one is, frankly, pretty bad.

Dungeons that are months old often overtake dungeons that are recently made. Dungeons that have few likes but many players overtake fresh ones that have many likes. There's a week-old level that has 2 likes and it somehow overtook my dungeon that's two days old and has 6 likes. Said dungeon of mine seemingly dropped off the face of the earth and isn't even in the first 20 pages of trending 😛

At the very least it should rule out levels that are over a month old. I like 1-1 But it's Quest Master and all, but it shouldn't be hanging around trending every day.
