sometimes in games you see ice-based block pushing where it keeps going until it hits an object! The ice cavern in OOT comes to mind, or the yeti house in Twilight Princess. I could see this taking the form of the speed arrows but pointing down (for friction) or just a set of numbers like Push Count. I would not like to see this restricted to "ice physics" in just the ice theme.
context menu: Properties
tooltips:
Friction (or "Push Distance")
- Icon: MAX purple down arrows, or a 1️⃣ (maybe colored like the arrows? purple one?)
- Moves 1 tile when pushed.
Friction (or "Push Distance")
- Icon: single blue down arrow, or ♾️
- Moves infinite tiles, until it hits something.
Having infinitely moving pushables could also allow for them to then be put on conveyors going the opposite direction, allowing for a whole new set of options for timing-based mechanisms. Or having to walk somewhere distant (many screens away) and keep track of the line you're on, so you know which block on one side of the world to kick to the other.
