Not sure if this actually counts as a bug. So in the menu interface on a steam deck I accidentally mapped both A and right click to previous tab. A is also still mapped to select but it does not work as it switches tabs instead of selecting. I got out of the control change menu and cannot get back into it now as I have no way to select it. Please help
#Button Mapping

I ran into similar issues while remapping buttons - halfway through, confirm and cancel got mapped to the same button, and I had a very hard time fixing it
You can try reinstalling the game or deleting the SaveGame.json file. The game should also gebe touch support, so you can try using your finger
Settings.json I mean
I tried reinstalling but it reinstalled with the same control mapping. Additionally if you accidentally double click when using the touch screen you can apparently also remap that (counts as right click) so that is also mapped to previous tab now
I made a beautiful mess of things
Ok. Then I think the easiest would be to manually delete the Settings.json file in the deck OS window
Sorry for that!
I’ll add some restrictions to prevent this from happening
tbh a "reset button mappings" on the pause menu would probably be enough; mk can click it, deck can touch screen it
there is one
in the base menu, when you first pause
not a fan
yeah, but it's one solution.
realistically i don't get why you can't just navigate through the touch screen anyway
I'm not sure exactly how but I managed to unbind the previous tab button and rebind it to LB so we are good now
You normally can if you aren't an idiot that accidentally bound the touch screen tap to an action ☠️
lmao why does it allow that .-.
