Would be nice to have signs with certain graphics on them that you could select. Currently you can write text on them, and that's great, but it also means you have to interact with the sign to see what it says.

If you had premade symbols on the signs you could direct the player and give them information without being near the sign or breaking up gameplay.

Examples would be arrows, shapes, or even pictures of enemies.
Arrows: ↑↓←→
Shapes: ♡〇✖
Enemies/Items: 🐍🦇heart
Symbols: ❕ ❔ 🛑 🚫 ⚠️ 💀

Then players could even use these to help convey conditions for things in a certain room. Like "Kill All Bats" would be two signs: 🚫 🦇
And the community would inevitably come up with their own conventions.

Just stumbled upon this as I had a similar idea and was curious if there is any update on adding signs with shapes? I would love to use signs with shapes on them to indicate where to take the gems to. Right now, you can use a gem pedestal as an indicator of which pathway to take the gem, but it may confuse players that they're supposed to place that gem in the pedestal that is solely an indicator.

Being able to place signs with the same shapes as gems would be neat! Square, Triangle, Circle, and Star :D

I like the idea of all of my signs are blurred, so no.

Yeah, don't forget you have access other languages too!
I doubt it they will be blurred anyway, suree I could just have a single sign with just those certain words and maybe more!
Fun eh?

That's why the plan gotten changed and most of us agreed it's a much better alternative, Premade Signs.

I think keeping the games entire “dialogue” outside of town as emojis would be the best play

Keep it all simple in-dungeon

@keen ivy They did once, but it was removed because "heheheha the internet is dangerous", which I understand.
