When I was a kid, we used to have to make this stuff. We coloured the page with crayon colours, and then covered the whole lot with black oil pastel. Looks like someone finally turned it into a business.

What we used to do was make it on rolls of paper. Then we made cardboard cameras. and put the black strip into the cardboard camera. We then went around taking pretend pictures and then we would develop the 'film' by scratching the pictures into it.

@tame jay I'll teach you something here. This is an interlude a session in which you can pretty much do whatever you want, usually its instrumental only, you can expand your main musical idea (motive) or just drift away from it and experiment.

This whole session is the interlude, and I've tried out many ways of playing the same thing

It has hard rock guitars, death metal drums, strings, synths a celeste playing a lullaby melody I sang etc etc

You can't brainstrom this, not even if you tried, and that is the issue

The right idea will come at the right time, not sooner or later
