First of all, make sure your Tomatoes aren't trash, with that out of the way, put some good oil in the pan, let the oil heat up a bit and put some chopped onions, carrots and celery, let it "fry" a bit

When you're done with that, slowly add some tomato sauce, and make sure to let It cook for a solid 10-15 mins at low heat, make sure you don't put the fire too low tho, otherwise it won't cook shit lmao

Remember that if you're making pasta, u should keep some pasta water on the side, and add it to the sauce towards the end as you're about to turn off the fire, let the sauce sit in the pan for a couple mins
