For years, i've been wondering about the meaning of freedom and whether it's something achievable or not. Before diving, I'd like to set some acknowledgments we have to know.

1- Freedom Relativity.
2- It's impossible to be completely independent; you'll always rely on someone or something else.
3-Absolute freedom does not exist.

Let's break down these 'acknowledgements'.

As you may infer from the first one's title, freedom in the whole expression is relative; there's neither absolute nor complete freedom. Althought some philosophers did aim to give it a meaning and try to make it a statement, it remains impossible to give it a definition because of the relativity of its own being.

Freedom shouldn't be something to aspire to, although this premise has been fading away because of the fake and erroneous idea that freedom is something to be achieved. This misconception primarily led to the first and most important problem. Suppose this:

A person who tries desperately to achieve something is tied to a goal, that goal, in this case is 'freedom', can you see what's wrong here? Even though the main goal is achieving freedom or dependency, you rely on something to carry on. A life without a goal can't be considered life; a life with a goal could never be free. Every single person relies on something, no matter if it is the tiniest thing or the most meaningless; you'll always be chained to something or someone.

'freedom' lacks freedom. This idea is supported by the second statement, as I said before, every single person is chained to something (material or immaterial) and someone. The absoluteness of freedom is not absolute at all.

The problem does not lie in whether freedom exists or not; the real problem lies in the people who look for it desperately, without stopping to think about their context and problems, mostly people who don't have their own dreams or goals. I support the idea that we have to make peace with ourselves, even if it gets hard to do.
