I see these people as largely invested in the benefits of American imperialism, and while I don’t believe the US is possible to transform into a leftist society in my lifetime, I believe if US imperialism falls it will begin that process. So I’m split on whether simply destabilizing the country by supporting the opposition is a better long term strategy due to the potential for short term disruption and its long reaching effects.

I would certainly go to a more radical type of protest where I merely have a tactical disagreement, such as pro Palestine protests where I believe they should escalate against arms companies and Zionist institutions
