Yea you're right. I actually have +400 comics of Donald Ducks and other smaller comics. I enjoy reading them time to time but whenever I try books it's hard to focus when it's all text. there are specific categories of books that both have those forms of text and pictures, at least from one book i bought
it was a manifesto of my country's idolised figure, the book stated that ''it was for teenagers and adolescent people'' with pictures and images alongside the content

for me, i actually prefer text because it gives me more to read and more to process
for you it might be very different

i recommended comic books or manga as a form of ''beginner'' way to start reading books more and more
