There are a lot of differences between men and other men and women and other women, wouldn't say these people aren't equal to one another

It would undermine how they are perceived and treated

Too many, therefore I don't believe that there is a equality because how can two different things be completely equal

By the way this was the excuse they used in the past to treat black people differently in USA

Ukraine is still holding on though. Those people have been holding on for a long time when all the circumstances are against them. Less soldiers, weaker weapons, weaker economy.

What are you implying ? Would you mind elaborating more on that ?

#

I said they have their own differences, can a biological man give birth and bear the pain of giving birth the same way a woman can ?

#

Women have uteruses and men don't

#

The chances of* men giving birth is literally impossible compared to women who have chances of giving birth, so

  1. There's plenty of issues about men having multiple wives too. Seems awfully convenient those aren't disqualifying. It doesn't exactly do equity either, as it makes women subservient to men. 3) So why exactly are women half as able to make judgement or testimony about finances? The only answer that could be given would rely on the assumption that women are of less intelligence then men. 4) The Hadith is the same although of different versions. See 3. 5) If the power dynamics are set up in an uneven way it shouldn't be surprising that it happens. 6) Do you endorse hitting women? 7) Would it not have been accepted between the time it was invented and the time that scholarship came to cover it?

# tiny apex I mean gender is a pretty broad group but I mean yeah women tend to have it hard...

The people tend to not understand that men and women being different isn't enough base for discrimination. Two groups of people can be different, but if you treat all of the group based on trends in it, is that fair? Imagine getting 2 groups of men, group A and group B. Group A, on average, is physically stronger than B, does that mean it's fair to give everyone in each group the same responsibilities and have the same expectations about them? No.
And the funny thing is, much of those differences are manufactured. Much of the psychological differences between men and women are result of culture not inherent biological difference, and if you ask people who oppose equality to give you any scientific evidence that women are simply less incompetent in matters of leadership and in becoming independent they wouldn't be able to.

  1. That's why it's only permissible under certain conditions. The default is one. Additionally, men are ruled as the guardians of the family. They are obligated to provide for and guard the family. Family in Islam is a tight-knit structure, each spouse has his own responsibilities and rights, but men are higher in rank in responsibility.
If I were to illustrate it, I would say a man is the president, the woman is the vice-president. That doesn't mean women are any less than men, just like you're not any less than your boss in work.
  2. I’m not in the habit of going in circles. I've already answered that question. Their testimony is half of men's testimony because they're generally less involved in financial matters than men.
  3. Irrelevant.
  4. Wha..? The power dynamics is already uneven. Men are physically stronger than women. Islam promotes equity for that exact reason. That's called justice.
  5. After nicely advising and leaving her in bed and with a Miswak that barely tickles to imply firmness and seriousness? Yes.
  6. Muslims before the science of Hadith was fully formalized only accepted Hadiths from people they trusted. Later, scholars of Hadith authenticated these Hadiths for everybody, but those Hadiths weren't always widespread anyways. But that's irrelevant, though.
slender coral

The equality people demand isn't the equality in everything, because naturally all humans are different based on cultural backgrounds, age, gender, etc..
The equality people demand is equality in chances. If a woman can lead, she is allowed to do so. If she can fight, she is allowed in the police or army. If she can live independently, she is allowed to make her choices without having a guardian.

  1. The boss and president are both higher than the employee and vice president. You literally just called males the guardians of the family lmao. Why can't women marry multiple men under special circumstances. 3) Why are women less involved in financial matters then men? Seems the reason keeps going back to the assumption that women are stupid. 5) "Israel is already stronger than Palestine, let's award more power to Israel so they can guard and protect the Palestinians". Yeah I wonder why there's so much abuse, nothing about that is equity. An inbalance in power dynamics doesn't mean to tip the scale further to the side of the powerful. 6) Yikes, I'm sure she'll really appreciate that you kindly explained everything to her and why she deserves to be hit with a wooden stick.

Often I see these women outside hitting and yelling at their children. You restated facts with no rebuttals (boss/president ranking), you made an unsolicited reaction, i.e., laughing while restating what I said about men's guardianship, you asked a question that I've already answered (polyandry), committed a slippery slope (non-involvement of women in financial affairs), committed a false equivalence (Israel-Palestine with men-women), and then made an unjustifiable sarcastic comment.

Yes, I am a Muslim. Since you asked, let's discuss the validity of Islam itself. If Islam is proven to be true, then by extension, Christianity's core claims are invalidated by what God revealed in the Qur'an.
The fundamental point of conflict is the nature of God. In Islam, God's oneness (Tawhid) is absolute and uncompromising. He is One.
You say that God is one, but you also say the Father is fully God, the Son is fully God, and the Holy Spirit is fully God. Logically, this is not one God, but three distinct gods. How can three separate, fully divine beings be a single being? This is a logical and mathematical contradiction

# formal pilot For the record i never want sanna to become an atheist, I just want to know how ...

My friend, let's set aside the Trinity for a moment. How do you respond to the story of Jacob wrestling God? How can the magnificent Creator of the universe physically wrestle a human being and be defeated by him? That portrayal is incredibly demeaning.
This leads to the bigger problem: the absolute lack of the Bible's historical reliability. It has been irrefutably proven by textual criticism that the texts have been altered over the centuries.
Crucially, even the key Trinitarian verses that Christian doctrine is built upon—like 1 John 5:7, the 'Comma Johanneum'—have been proven by your own scholars to be later additions, not part of the original manuscripts.
So my question is, how can you accept a book that has been demonstrably altered, even by a single letter? Shouldn't the book of God be perfect, infallible, and divinely preserved? It should be free from vulgar language and completely free from any errors, big or small.
How can the great Creator of this majestic universe be portrayed as making mistakes, or being so weak and debased?

I have observed these contradictions too and how religious scholars provide verses to back up their claims.
Interestingly in past most of people were illiterate or didn't have religious books in their hand(until the printing press invented) so naturally they just submitted and accepted them religions because king/enemy imposed them without fact check, reading or analysing for criticism.

Even now if you find contradictions or something wrong in them books they turn the round and round just to confuse. That's their technique, keep arguing and confusing others.

Alright so, right off the bat, God is one, but exists as three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, not three separate gods. It’s a mystery of God’s nature, not a contradiction, which even you would agree with can't be a "Logical and mathematical contradiction". Also, regarding your first point, if you trust the Quran as revealed through Muhammad, who didn’t write it himself, isn’t that kind of similar, relying on a revelation delivered by a human?

urban swift

# formal pilot Some awesome people are also well versed in the Qur'an and Hadith, can't be me

The Qur'an cannot be changed, not even by a single letter, because millions of people have memorized it verbatim. This is unlike the Bible, which is impossible to memorize orally.
So, the Qur'an was preserved both orally (through memorization) and in writing from the very beginning.
This is why the oldest manuscripts of the Qur'an are 100% identical to the text we have today. This is the complete opposite of what we find with the manuscripts of the Bible

formal pilot

# urban swift I asked you something simple. Does God have a gender?

How can God have a gender? How can the very Being who created the concept of gender be confined by it, my friend?
On the contrary, God is Al-Ghaniyy (The Self-Sufficient); He has absolutely no need for His creation. He is Al-Ahad (The One), He is Al-Qawiyy (The All-Powerful). All perfection belongs to Him, and absolutely nothing resembles Him.
He is completely separate and distinct from His creation. He is the Creator, free of any need from anything He created. As the Qur'an states perfectly: 'There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing

# formal pilot "but we also accept the real events it recorded" how am I supposed to accept it ...

I have to refer to the second part of what I said earlier, "... the emphasis is always on divine meaning and teaching and not strict chronology", the Gospels emphasize different aspects of the same events, we see them as complementary perspectives, not strictly contradictions as the order doesn't really matter. In the verses you mentioned, Matthew highlights Jesus as Messiah and the flight to Egypt, Luke highlights his connection to all people and the temple presentation. We accept the differences as natural expressions of God's truth, while Catholics see them, and other discrepancies, as contradictions to be harmonized into a single chronological narrative

high raven
#

Concepts like male, female, or queer don’t apply to God, you could definitely refer to him as being asexual without being theologically too far off (When it comes to both Christianity and Islam)

My friend, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came with over a thousand confirmed, undeniable miracles witnessed by thousands of people. He was followed by over 100,000 companions (Sahaba). How can we explain all of these great miracles?
God promised him victory, and he was indeed victorious in all his battles until the religion was perfected. God Almighty then revealed the verse: 'This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.' (Qur'an 5:3).
Furthermore, Muslims opened lands with their superior character and morals. Look at Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world. Not a single Muslim soldier ever entered it. This huge number of people embraced Islam simply because they were convinced of its truth through the character of Muslim traders

It's not exclusive to Christians but to answer your question, those actions aren’t truly Christian, they distort Christ’s teachings. God is beyond gender, so using the scripture to justify cruelty, exclusion, or murder is a corruption of faith, not genuine Christianity. I'm on the far-right end of the spectrum, we don't see some denominations, and those who do what you mentioned, as true Christians

# formal pilot Can you provide me the name of earliest manuscripts of Qur'an which contains eve...

My friend, we have something far greater than just manuscripts, something no other religion on this planet possesses. We have the Qur'an memorized. It is not just on paper; it is preserved in the hearts and tongues of millions.
If every single copy of the Qur'an were destroyed today, a young child who has memorized it could recite the entire Qur'an perfectly, without a single error. This oral preservation is a unique phenomenon.
And, contrary to claims about the Bible, there are ancient manuscripts of the Qur'an that perfectly match the current text. Consider the Birmingham Quranic Manuscript:
Significance: This manuscript is currently the most prominent and strongest candidate for the oldest written copy of the Qur'an in the world.
Discovery: It's part of the 'Mingana Collection' of Middle Eastern manuscripts, housed at the University of Birmingham, UK.
Radiocarbon Dating: In 2015, it underwent radiocarbon dating. This analysis showed with up to 95.4% accuracy that these parchment leaves were written between 568 and 645 AD.
Historical Context: This period directly overlaps with the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), whose life is believed to be between 570 and 632 AD. This means the scribe of this manuscript might have been a contemporary of the Prophet, or even seen and heard from him.
Content: The manuscript contains parts of Surahs 18 (Al-Kahf) to 20 (Taha), written in Hijazi script, one of the oldest Arabic scripts.
The Astonishing Finding: The verses in this ancient manuscript are found to be identical to the current Qur'anic text. There isn't a single letter replaced or changed. It is a perfect, literal match

It’s not about strict order though, Matthew highlights the flight to Egypt to show prophecy fulfilled, but the exact timing doesn’t make it any less true. The way of telling it emphasizes the theological meaning. Both accounts describe real events from different perspectives, showing Jesus’ mission without contradicting each other. It's Christian theology, it won't be a satisfactory explanation if you reject theological framing and only accept strict historical chronology, but it's how we (Orthodox) see it

yes brother im sorry. the talk is too much and my english is medium not my langauge so its veryy hard for me to write this good. so yes some words maybe from ai... but i only use it for the date of the manusscript to be sure you know. thanks for notice
anyway who tell you quran is saved by manuscript??? i tell you muslims dont need manuscripts do you understand what i say???
the quran is all memorised by mouth. it can neverr be changed. we dont need the manuscript AT ALL
the manuscripts are like second proof for quran only second proof
we use manuscript argument for the bible becuase it is the ONLY way to save it. quran is diffrent. its saved in milions of people. if one guy change one letter the milions will correct him.
the bible need manuscripts and torah too becuase no one memorize it. no way to get the text without them. so we find the changes in bible from the difrent manuscripts. but quran is memorized by milions of muslims the same كلام. if you want to know quran you hear it... you dont have this at all
so the main point is this:
quran dont need manuscript. manuscript is just extra proof.
but other book like bible the manuscript is the main thing the number 1 thing. it is very eazy for a man who write it to change something. and nobody will know. becuase no one memorize it by mouth.
i hope this is clear for you my brother

# urban swift New testament supporting slavery :- Ephesians 6:5 Colossians 3:22 1 peter 2:1...

This is the laziest collection of examples I've EVER seen.
No regard given to the entire verses before and after these...

Starting from Philemon,
This doesn't encourage slavery in any way, the author here was imprisoned alongside the slave of Philemon, reading the verses before/after the one you picked out, you'd see that the author was friends with the particular "slave" he's talking about, and asked that he be freed, and even agreed to pay for the slave's "dues" if any
This passage is about no longer treating what was once a slave, as a brother instead

turbid dome

It was the vast majority of Christian countries who had some form of slavery in their overseas colonies or domestically in some capacity through indentured servants.

Whereas terrorist groups represent a fringe group of Muslims, almost every Christian country had slavery

plain ruin
# urban swift New testament supporting slavery :- Ephesians 6:5 Colossians 3:22 1 peter 2:1...

The other 3 verses are very identical in nature, the letters to the Ephesians, Colossians and 1 Peter are all of a similar nature, trying to preach Christianity to specific groups of people that had different views from Christianity

This is common throughout the New Testament, if you look at the gospels of matthew, mark, luke and john, people are quick to point out "contradictions", but fail to point out aspects such as how each gospel potrays the Romans involvement and the Jews involvement in the trial of Jesus, each one does it differently, the point being that each gospel was meant for different audiences, the ones favourable to Romans, were meant for the Romans to see, thus the same thing with the letters of Paul and Peter, they're usually writing to the "owners" of the slaves, if they just told these people to "free their slaves", they'd be instantly met with rejection

#

The fact is, the same author that wrote Ephesians, Colossians and Philemon, also wrote the Galatians 3:28 verse

Among these, Galatians and Colossians were already existing Christian communities, with the Galatians being much more agreeable with Paul during the writing of these letters

Hence why in the Galatians verse, he's more free to say that the concept of slavery isn't really a thing

It says Christians can’t own slaves? Pretty sure it said the opposite. Whether you want to contend that slave treatment was more cruel than the Bible allowed, sure, that’s probably true. But it still regulated slavery in a way that made it permissible.

It’s a bit hard to claim that people holding slaves are fake Christians when Christianity allows slavery and they were raised Christian. And Christian’s absolutely had institutional power throughout much of the time of slavery. The pope used to be an extremely influential figure, and essentially all of Europe was Christian

  • The Pope would come under Catholicism alone, most of the English, French, German areas, either practiced Protestantism, or had state linked Catholicism rather than completely adhering to the Pope
  • Catholics view the Pope and Priests as all these things such as infallible or a representation of Jesus etc. etc. which I don't like myself, the guy is just a guy, popes have submitted to nations under pressure, I've already pointed out how appealing to people's vices was a common tactic in the new testament letters, to get someone to later change their ways

Deuteronomy 22:20-21 - Revised Standard Version (RSV)

<20> But if the thing is true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the young woman, <21> then they shall bring out the young woman to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has wrought folly in Israel by playing the harlot in her father's house; so you shall purge the evil from the midst of you.

# fresh flower Wait what??? Idk about the second part

It was only prohibited during the battle of Khaibar from my understanding, so for years before that it was permitted.

Ali (Allah be pleased with him) heard that Ibn Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) gave some relaxation in connection with the contracting of temporary marriage, whereupon he said: Don't be hasty (in your religious verdict), Ibn 'Abbas, for Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on the Day of Khaibar prohibited that forever - along with the eating of flesh of domestic asses.
