I mean that we cant explain constant correctly, because its a constant, and it plays as a part of the equation to make the math correct, and deep inside the concept of "constant" is a question no one could have answered yet.

For example, the equation representing an ideal gas state is pV/T = constant, meaning in a limited volume of gas, the state doesnt change if you increase any variable. Later Prof. Clapeyron found out that it is explainable that the constant is actually something times the number of moles of gas, which is pV/T = n.R, with R being another constant.
