In essence yes, if that was the case, wouldn't the world be idealistic as you can argue everything would go in a much more “ideal” sense of the way. People wouldn't get hurt and sick and suffer with unjust, hate and racism.

I don't consider myself to be of any religion or even an atheist. I'm a rather agnostic person, and I believe God has left everything out of order because that's nature and that's how we develop and constant interventions is not natural.

Like your parents that create and nurture you, but don't control and condemn you. But in many religions, the only change is condemnations do happen but afterlife.

Now that's up to you on how much of it you actually believe in.

Now take all that information, and let's approach the claim that was originally up for debate. What we see or hear about religion is people's interpretation and biases. No religion is perfect and that's why there are so many ridges in different religion and even denominations of the same religion.

You have to understand that biases and people's interpretation of the creator's words shape their view.

But on top of it all, all the religion sends across is a duty to society and a sense of moral compass of loving and believing and trusting. And that's what makes you human.

For a particular religion, I'd suggest you join the specific religion's community and communicate than engage in hate speech or googled nuance-less definitions and Wikipedia pages. Because religion isn't black and white.

With that being said, I do appreciate seeing your atheistic views and skepticism because religion isn't above criticism. It shouldn't just translate into hate though, so just make sure the way you communicate is implorative and not aggressive. (Aggression brings out defensiveness than a meaningful discussion.)
