Well it all started from the protests against the quota system in civil service jobs—too much reservation for the students who were descendants of freedom fighters. Thousands of students protested against this unfair system. Things got violent pretty soon. As of now, things have calmed down but now there are agitations lead by hindu minorities. even I live a better life than her but I think she's life must be happy and enjoyable in that town

I ever been a lot of country and their different regions like rural areas, towns, megacities, or cities and I really see people appears to be happier than the people who really think the rich = happy which means some people live in rural areas they define their life is not happy because they don't want to be here for some reason.

but basically all I observed truth was, the people who live in prosperous megacity having less happiness than those places.

I think if I would say there is a common situation for people live in small towns who don't worry about their life needs and having less time for work than people in megacities and they chill they do a lot of cozy stuff, they have their community and they enjoy their life.

idk if that happens in Europe most people live in megacities but still busy or being common dealing with work overtime

in East Asia, work overtime even becoming a culture in megacities

still remember when I was in an underdeveloped small town in Jiangsu province, China/Fujiyoshida, Japan/Cheongju-si, South Korea, I see a lot of people wearing normal stuff, smiling and talking with other people, they enjoy their life in different ways even the youngs and olds, I see a lot of parents with their kid walking on the street to seek something to buy I don't really have such idea of they are unhappy.
