For example, I used to play a lot of DOTA 2, the problem is, once I start playing the game, I cannot get enough of it and I feel the need to continuously play it, especially if I lose one game 🙂

to an extent, video games is healthy for kids if your parents know how to control the amount of time you spend on the screen; it can also be a motivation to get better grades; but if you don't have any supervision as in you're 18 and above and let's say you move out your parents house and you're addicted; take the gaming console, lock it in a room and you can give someone and say to yourself, you will only get back to gaming if you're doing good at you're studies; gaming addiction is very easy; the more you play games, the less you get addicted actually, same thing happened to me, i kinda grew out of playing games; so don't worry
