Though I recently discovered an interesting connection between morality and religion. There's a saying that a strong will comes from one's morals, and my observation showed me that those who are spiritually grounded often believe in one or another form of religion. What are your thoughts on that?

To me is the opposite. Atheist people seem to be way more moral than religious folks. Religious people often mimic morality or good intentions, which you can always tell is not genuine

Also, atheist are moral because they are, we believe that humans are capable of morality per se

Paramathika satya ( Ultimate Truth ) vs Loka-samvriti-satya( Worldly relative truth/Appearance ) .

This Buddhist dialectical tool of two truths was borrowed by the later Advaitin Philosopher.

Some would argued it's not a fair comparison because Parmenedes was positing an eternal immutable unchanging Being and the Buddhist Philosopher in the contrast , like Nagarjuna ,were being skeptical towards any claim of ultimate reality and that they were against metaphysical foundationalism.

But, some tibetan sect(shentongpa/jonang school ) interprets Sunyata/Emptiness as an implicative negation (paryudāsa-pratiṣedh) , rather than denying the ultimate reality.
This is the other-emptiness view.

In this view,the primordial eternal Buddha nature( Tathagatagarbha) itself
is no different with Parmenedian "Being".

The later hindu philosophers were being unfair by criticizing the Buddhist as metaphysical nihilist( sunyavada/voidism) .

It's a blatant distortion of the doctrine of sunyata/emptiness.

Nietzsche committed the same error by calling Buddhist nirvana as nihilistic.

Many of the German philosophers(Heidegger,Schopenhauer, Hegel and Nietzsche)
were interested in the eastern Asian philosophy and were in dialogue with them, especially Schopenhauer who was directly influenced by Buddhism.
