It's a country with loads of opportunities, good people and relatively inexpensive education (In comparison to the USA), but the US has more opportunities for me either as a programmer or as a pilot (I want to become a pilot after finishing my programming course, I'll apply everywhere possible for funding my training cost because there are some airline cadet programs in the EU, if I'll be lucky enough to start my training for free here, I'll not consider moving to the US as I'll have a dream job, if I won't - I'll go to the US, even though I'll have to pay for the training myself, I can simply afford much more there than here)

And I don't need a degree to become a programmer in the US, which I have to have here. No one will ever consider you as a programmer without QQI Level 7/8, unless you have at least Level 6 and loads of programming related skills, in this case you may be an exception, but it's almost impossible.

I wouldn't even mind doing a two year aircraft mechanic course there and working for a couple of years as an aircraft mechanic, while getting all my pilot licenses to become a pilot in the US, as I would be desirable anywhere, in any airline
