Basically we procrastinate because we feel overwhelmed by the task we have to do. So we wait until the point that not completing the task is more painful than the process of undertaking the task. I suggest you make yourself do 5 minutes of a task, set a timer and work without allowing yourself to become distracted until the timer goes off. Then decide if you will keep working or give in to a distraction. usually once you get started it is easier to keep going.
